A special photography exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM and will run for one week. The Urban School of Katerini will host photographs by photographer Stella Tzitzili, in her second solo exhibition titled "Saturation" ("Κορεσμός")
The exhibition features 48 color photographs. In the exhibition text, we read, among other things: “Through these photographs, I tried to convey what weighs us down and keeps us bound in a latent state of saturation. Overconsumption of material goods, indifference to the environment, its destruction, violence in human relationships, fake friendships—all of these are a reality."
In this living reality, however, have the deepest desires of our existence been fulfilled, and do we now feel completeness, or are we navigating a complex state of our lives that leads us to a new unknown future? These are the questions I wanted to capture with images and provide food for thought.”
