The EYDAP Employees' Cultural Center invites you to opening of the Photographic Exhibition "Save The Water" team's photo "Focus On The Soul" with Ypatia Kornarou as rapporteur which will take place on Thursday, October 12 at 19:30, at Gallery T.A.F./the art foundation, Normanou 5, Athens.

The focus of the report is to communicate the risk that the effects of climate change, on the quality and quantitative adequacy of water. Fears are multiplying more and more and concerns about the sustainability of the planet. Her threat dehydration but also the general water pollution is a vital issue that concerns us all. Art must convey messages that awaken and mobilize actions in its direction collective good in order to save the planet.

The photographic exhibition "Save The Water" becomes his helper in the interest of art and culture. The Photography Team "Focus On The Soul" from the start to the end of the lessons of this academic year (October 2022-June 2023), set a serious issue that concerns the entire planet: "the lack of - water pollution and its importance".

But the "Water Crisis" is urgent priority. Many are discussing how the next world war it will happen due to water scarcity.

Specifically, Greece based on the report "Aqueduct Water RiskAtlas" held in 2019, is in its 26th position world ranking with the countries they are already facing water shortage problems.Water is life and man is inextricably linked togetherof. The human body consists of 60% water and the earth 72%. We can all understand that the quality but also the its quantitative adequacy is one of the most important goods for it sustainability of ecosystems.

Curator Ypatia Kornarou was born in Athens where she takes pictures and lives. She firstly studied economics and continued her studies in photography.
She has been dealing with artistic photography since she launched her career in the photographic world. She has participated in International and Domestic Photo Festivals.
She writes articles and presents photographic material in the magazine “Photonet”. Several times her thoughts on photography have been hosted along with photos of her, on important sites (“Photologio”, “Nexus Media”, “Lifetone”, “PolisMagazino”). From 2009 until today she photographs Theater and Dance Festival (“Young Artists – The 12 Coupes”, “Contemporary Dance-Compartments Dance Project” at “Train in Rouf”).
She mainly deals with the photography of theatrical and dance performances. In her evolution, the moment when she feels ready to communicate thoughts and feelings came, attempting to create photographic projects. Last year, she has been actively involved in social media, especially on Instagram, where important international photography communities continue to present her photographic work.
She recently transmeet her knowledge in photography seminars organized by art schools or places of creation and art (Tabula Rasa, Orneraki School, Compass Theater, Spring People, etc.). Every photo shoot for her is a quest, only the dive occurs mainly in the unconscious.
